ROLLING ON (Illustrated method two)
Roll out a pattern about three feet wide and about a foot from the top and bottom of the wall
Lightly load the roller, starting at the outside edge of the pattern and at the vertical center of the wall roll down and into the cut in paint at the baseboard...
...and back up to the cut in paint at the top of the wall then...
Back down to the bottom of the wall.
Remove the roller from the wall and lightly load it...
Lightly load roller before starting each pass.
Repeat the process, slightly lapping the previously painted section...
Always end each "layoff" pass at the bottom of the wall.
Repeat until the entire section is completed.
Begin the next section by
applying the pattern from the outside edge of the finished section ...
Start laying off this section at the outside wet edge of the previously completed  section and work out toward the opposite corner.
Continue laying out sections until you complete the wall.
The reason for the first section being layed off  back into the corner rather than forward is to keep from having too much paint applied in the wall corner with no space to spread it out.

Note:  Priming the walls with a primer/sealer before applying the top coat will keep the finish paint from drying too quickly. This will allow you to roll out the paint before the wet edge sets, and make for much better looking  finished walls.
