Residential mural

Here's a job I knocked out yesterday in a little over 3 hours. Great $$$ for an easy day. It was a 5' X 12' one-piece photomural installed on a TV room wall. Primed with DrawTite, and hung with 234. Buckeye fans are the most hardcore sports nuts I've ever seen.

Very nice. If I look real hard I may see my niece out there somewhere. She lives in Ohio.  Real buckeye fan ;D

COOL! But if they were SO diehard then they would have made every wall a mural from the perpsective of being in the center of the field.   ;D Now THAT would be awesome!

great wall mural Tim.   :)  I like using drawtite for certain applications also.

Hey prowall they just put up this huge HUGE really nice wall mural at the gym I workout at so I went and took a close look to see how it was attached.

Welp they used screws, I couldn't believe it.

I'll take some pics next time I go the screws ruined that picture causing creases in it, looks nice from a distance then you get up close and see the mess.


Can we take a shot at how much you charged? I say $500?

DrawTite is Zinsser's Gardz on steroids, and 234 is a Heavy Duty Clear Adhesive made by Gardner-Gibson for wallcovering. Resembles Romans 880, only better flow and tack.

This one was made by 4walls.com. There are several companies out there that can make them. From el cheapo $89 murals, to mid grade like the one above (cost $390 retail) to high-end high-$$$ canvas murals.

Thanks Prowall I wondered where they came from also got me looking for a mural now for my room ;D

Did they have a photo that you had made into the mural?

Yes. You can literally have anything you want digitally printed on wallcovering now.
Depending on the size, application, and picture (licensed or unlicensed), the price will fluctuate.
