best method to sand out roller lint?
Stever:
jQuery(document).ready(function($){jQuery(function(){jQuery("#msg_7494").css("overflow-y", "hidden");});});Just did an estimate in a nice posh penthouse suite.
Previous owners painted it themselves and did a horrible job and every surface is full of lint into the paint. lots of lint. never seen it so bad.
Any specific kind of sandpaper to use in my pole sander to make removing it fast and easy?
I know just about anything will do, but considering its everywhere I would like to make it go as fast as possible.
Vin:
jQuery(document).ready(function($){jQuery(function(){jQuery("#msg_7513").css("overflow-y", "hidden");});});Musta got us stumptified on this one Steve ::), maybe your going to have to use tweezers HEH HEH j/k ;D
Stever:
jQuery(document).ready(function($){jQuery(function(){jQuery("#msg_7515").css("overflow-y", "hidden");});});I Guess i'm just going to try a few different grits of sandpaper and see which works best.
Told the client not to expect 100% removal of all the old roller lint, but to expect a drastic difference.
ceilings, walls, trim, its everywhere!
ProWallGuy:
jQuery(document).ready(function($){jQuery(function(){jQuery("#msg_7518").css("overflow-y", "hidden");});});I would use medium grit screens rather than paper.
brushworks:
jQuery(document).ready(function($){jQuery(function(){jQuery("#msg_7545").css("overflow-y", "hidden");});});I've used the same as PWG, the #150 screen cloths. Knocks it down quickly.
