Radiator chrome prep
« on: August 05, 2007, 11:54:59 PM »
One more quick one. :)

What prep do i need to do on this?

Im thought about clean, sand/scuff, apply high-temp primer and use special high-temp paint. ...but after reading something in a book, im thinking maybe just scuff/sand and apply some latex?

Its in the bathroom, so moisture is a factor (I think?)

and i didn't want to use a spray, because of the heat reflector and behind the screen and it doesn't wan't to come off.

Looks like stainless steel. I would really try to get screen off and spray it with an automotive primer and finish. I would also offer a very limited warranty because of the moisture and heat. CYA baby! Who's copy of faux finish is that?
It ain't easy being cheesy
