Recent job painting stripes
«

Just completed a job painting stripes for my best friend's nursery. He is expecting a boy! Never done them quite like this before, and was a little reluctant but decided to go for it and use a a technique I read on here about painting over the tape with the color under the tape. The results were perfect. The only touch ups were a few pencil lines and marks that got under the tape. Also, used the delicate tape with orange core. Started at 10 am and on the way home at 6 pm.

Heh...Nice looking work. I'm really glad the technique worked for you. I've used it many many times on R/C aircraft I've built, only a few on houses, but it's always been worth the time spent.

looks time consuming.. i have to do some stripes soon in a pharmacy, looks like your blue tape held up well for precision.
BTW... that room looked looked quite tight to work in with all the furniture lol..
Good job though turned out great

Just enough room for a ladder between the wall and furniture...it's not too bad, I do strictly repaints and am used to it. It sure beats the heck out of moving all of it out.
