« on: July 28, 2008, 06:08:37 PM »

I thought I would post a few pics from this summers adventures.
Let me start by apologizing for my poor photographic skill. LOL.

Here is Jake, the Mysterious paint ninja! (notice the massive (and sloppy) four inch brush of doom!!!!)

This is me (left) and our employee Ken...

Now you know the guys... Here's the paint...

More to follow...

Nice work.
As for the painters ----------- I like the little short one with blond hair. But she doesn't look happy. ;D

Thanks Vin...
Yeah, doing tracts is strange sometimes... I swear there are days when Im at work, and Im looking at the interior of one of these places, and I forget which house I am at!! LOL.
Its all good though...
I figure its my job to make "cookie cutter" houses look a little different from eachother, one paint job at a time.

Lynjo, I think she was just not ready for the pic...
Here is one where Taylor (my grand monkey) looks a little happier! :-)

Yea, she does look happier. But so would I if I were at the beach instead of painting.  ;D She is a sweat heart, reminds me of my grand daughter when she was that little. She will be a teenager before you know it. Enjoy her now they grow up to fast.  :)

Nice work, beautiful colors. Except I'd probably pass on the ?tangerine? kitchen!
Scary looking dudes though!  ;D It wouldn't bother me as I have several tattoos, but no one can see them with my shirt on. Have you ever had any adverse reactions to your looks and style? Do you do any residential repaints, or just primarily new construction?

PWG...

First of all I'd just like to say... Chicks dig us...  ;D LOL ;D

Seriously though, we don't do any new construction at all... Only custom res repaints.

Matt IS a big dude... But he's also a giant teddy bear and a great guy ta boot.

We never have a problem with the way we look... Even in multi-million dollar houses.

In fact (and Matt and I have spoken about this) we feel that sometimes it's even to our advantage, as once we get into a rapport with the client, and they realize we KNOW what we're talking about... They start to see us as artists in a way, and sometimes become even cooler to us than they were to begin with.

Add to that helping the client with color choices, products, accents, diy advice, etc, all done in a professional, intelligent, personable way...

All come together to create an image that works for us.

Cheers man!

BTW, I've seen your vids on youtube and really dig em. Visit us next time you're in Vegas!

heh, I doubt you'll find many folks in the construction industry in Vegas who don't have tats showing on arms, legs, and neck, at very least...

Personally, I have no tats which anyone can see, and I tie my hair back in a ponytail whenever I am going to work - but at the same time, I can relate to much of what Jake says above.  If you can create a professional image through your knowledgebase, service, attention to detail, and work ethic, then you've created a niche for yourself that cannot be undone by some ink or an aversion to scissors.  ;)
