Hey all.  My name is Don and I've just started doing painting as a career.  I've been in the remodel business for over 20 years but just started advertising painting because the remodel is getting too tough on my body.  I hated painting before, now I find myself enjoying it.  Go figure!  Anyway, I'm from the MidWest and I'm enjoying looking through your posts on here.  Thanks!

Hi I'm Lewis, I'm 26.

I have been painting and decorating for ten years, the last three of which have been running my own business. We work mainly with principal contractors and business owners on developments in London. There is a link to our website in my signature with bundles of info about our company and the type of work we do.

Found this forum by chance and hopefully I can contribute.

All the best

Lewis

Hello everyone, I am Rick from the NW suburbs of Chicago and been painting since 1982. I like to consider myself a reconditioning specialist. I am also 100% residential re-work with three full time helpers working all together one job at a time. I could go on and on with pictures and all but I will save that for another time.

Hello All,

I'm Brandon, General Contractor and Owner of a Design and Planning company in Kansas City, MO. Although I've done my share of painting, I am certainly no master of the art and need to keep with the trends.

Hello folks,

I am a fairly new business owner, I have been a general tradesman ( Jack of all ) and have turned towards mastering one specific trade. PAINTING  ;D , painter for close to 13 years I would consider myself a great painter but I am sure I could still learn many new things especially when it comes to spraying.  I believe that is where the money is in painting, Not sure if I am correct but either way I would like to learn more.

Hopefully this thread is still active. But Hi all. After a long time of stalking these threads, I've decided to join more forums in general. I'm in the lift industry, and I joined to learn more about the painting trade (and so I can seem like an expert when talking to painters over the phone)

Feel free to ask for any advice regarding lift equipment. See everyone around!

I have been painting for many years. Always looking to gain new skills and improve. Have been surfing various painting forums and have yet to find one I like. This is lucky number 5!
Maybe I will just give up on the forums and focus more on my lovely kids and wife!
