I've got 6 acres and have yet to figure out where to put my 1/4 acre "victory" garden...I am (ask anybody up here) an accomplished vegetable gardener and will be subsistance farming again this year once I can figure out where to put the plot. If you saw the property you'd know my dilemma...
I do sweet corn, broccoli (my last had 24" heads
), the usual tubers (spuds, carrots, radish), peppers, peppers, peppers, punkins, zuchs, asparagus (in it's own separate plot), sometimes snap peas, sweet yeller onions, and the wife likes her June-bearing strawbs and an herb garden.
I've done a 1/8 acre plot in the past, but times are being promised by the taxman to be the leanest since the Great Depression, so I'm going bigger. I'll likely need a bigger freezer as well..
Anyone else eating anything besides paint jobs?
