tapeing off texure ceilings

Hey all. I have a job coming up that I need to tape off a textured drywall stamped ceiling. I'm doing a decrorative treatment so I can't just cut it in. It looks like it's painted basic matt white. Will this be a problem when I remove the tape? Thanks Rosie (Ohio)

It shouldn't if you use safe-release or painter's tape. The blue tape with an orange core works well. It all depends on if the texture up there is adhered well to the ceiling. If it isn't, there's not much you can do about it.
