I painted a buddies truck once with quick dry industrial enamel once. It looked good for a while but would chip off easy with any stone chip or door ding. It dried too hard and wouldn't flex when the metal did. It cost us about $90 for paint and a days labour for 2 guys. I watched some of these videos and think the time they are spending on prep they should spend another $300 on real auto paint. I've sprayed it on a couple of jobs and don't find it much different than lacquer. BUT I haven't tried the waterborne products yet. Kinda scared too.
