Staining 12 inch sidding
« on: August 24, 2011, 11:16:02 AM »
I have a job next week to stain a house with 12 inch cedar.  I usually spray and back brush, but this customer insists on no spraying.  Were using PPG Sunproof, semi-trans.   I'm looking for suggestions to make sure I don't get lap marks.  I already plan to cover the entire board before moving down, but usually when I do decks the brush covers the hole board.

Anyway, I'm rambling, just looking for  suggestions.  Thanks

I don't do much ext anymore- but we used to roll it on  and then use pad brushes ( ones with the longer bristles) to back brush it in.  Worked pretty good.
