I just wanted to say Mahalo (Hawaiian for Thank you) to the great group of people in this forum. I recently purchased my late Grandparents 55 year old home. The exterior was in need of a paint job, but I did not want to shell out the bucks and have someone else do it. I spent many hours lurking in this forum and was able to gain enough information to attack this project. Prepping, priming (the full exterior) and painting took about 1 week. I spent my vacation on the project. I borrowed a friends Graco XR-7 sprayer and had my girlfriend follow with with a roller and brush to backroll. I used Benjamin Moore primer and the MoorGard low lustre final. The prepping took four days, and the priming and final (2 coats) took the remaining 3 days. The final product looks great. Thanks again everybody for your insight, guidance, advice and support.
Craig
