Hi there,

This thread is directed at those who have been painting for more than ten years.

I am interested in  a painting career, but I have heard that painting does pose some health risks:

Have you developed any kid of toxicity to the nervous system, reproductive damage, liver and kidney damage, respiratory impairment, cancer, and dermatitis??

As lucrative as a painting business sounds, I am not sure if I would embark on a career which greatly increases the risk of cancer..

Thanks for pointing this should be obvious point. I never thought about it too much. I just figured house type paint were not that bad.
I will be giving this some serious thought going forward. Precautions should be definitely considered.
