Going to work for someone else
« on: September 04, 2006, 12:17:38 AM »
:D   Hi everyone.

I'm going to work for someone else.  Since the guy who got me into this business died, ( in the middle of a job). I have not had a strong mentor.  I have always felt "less than" guys who spent a lot of time being journeymen etc..  I have't done too bad, 90% of my work has been referrals.  Still, I have always felt in the back of my mind that I should have had more "hands on" before trying  on my own.

About a year ago, I met this guy who had been through the training programs and has a excellent reputation.  I was supposed to start next week, but he need some help yesterday.

There's no point to this post, it just feels so dam good to be painting again.

Thanks for the encouragement,

I did not stop painting, but the apartments sucked up so much time, I couldn't even manage painting jobs.  This guy will still let me do stuff for my existing clients.
