Faux Plaid Finish
« on: August 20, 2006, 01:35:11 PM »
Jared,

wasn't for sure if you saw the picture or not.   Admin.  did not remove the picture,  I Did.

I thought it was to big to post and thought maybe I needed to reduce the size of it and was and am  still trying just to figure out how to resize the picture so it didn't come across so big on the screen.

Glad you got to see it.  Really took a loooooong time to do  and a couple of times with so many color changes and all the small lined taping,  I did get confused on where I was .  Lots of excederin.    ;D      ;   and yes you can do it,  had to scratch my head a few times until I got the math just right-  should have paid more attention in school  .   8)
Trying to repost so it doesn't appear so big -

and Macpaint,   I really like using the Signature line also.    :)

DecWalls: you should have taken a ton of photos (and removed the chair with the clothing on it) and use it in a portfolio!
That is one incredible job!
I'm in awe of your talent and patience!

To resize the pictures, if you have windows: Open Microsoft paint(which comes with all Microsoft operating systems), open the picture in Paint, go to edit and stretch/skew, set hor/vet to same reduced setting. *pushes up glasses*  ;D

if you need any assistance whatsoever in modifying or hosting that pic, let me know.  I can fix ya right up.

IMO the pic that was here before is some of the most impressive work I've ever seen.  It deserves to be displayed.  ;)

oh wow.  I missed this.  I really really forget to come on to this part of the board.  Seems like I just remember to go to the home board and the profess. painters board.    Jared, yeah I have the picture in my gallery, but for some reason there is like a broken line all the way down the image and when I click on it , it tells me the file cannot be found - may have been renamed or moved in your system.   I did some re-arranging & deleting myself from my picture gallery  and when I go into my photo gallery where I unload the pictures this is where I am seeing the broken line down the picture.   I can see the picture, but when I click on it - I get that message I mentioned above.  I will keep trying to see what I can do or if I can pull the picture up .  I am not the best when it comes to computers :o
Thanks for all your help. :)

I believe I understand the problem.

If you can bring up an image, even if it has a "break" in it, than we can make it happen.

PM is coming your way.  ;)
